Mokaffé is another brand under Quarta Caffè. The roasting company was founded over sixty years ago by Gaetano Quarta. As is often the case, it all began with a small rotating drum roaster in a café in the historic center of Lecce. Even back then, Gaetano focused on product quality, roasting each variety of beans separately. Slowly but surely, his reputation spread beyond the city limits. Demand grew, as did expectations. Quarta Caffè quickly became the most popular and most consumed coffee in its region. With its inimitable aroma and taste, it soon outpaced the competition.

In the 1970s, the company relocated from central Lecce to an industrial area, adopting better technologies and state-of-the-art equipment. By modernizing at just the right time, Quarta Caffè transitioned from a coal-powered roasting workshop to a larger, more technologically advanced factory. This allowed Quarta Caffè to successfully keep up with the high demand.

The company now spans 12,000 square meters, where more than 70,000 sacks of green coffee are processed each year. With regular updates to its facilities, Quarta Caffè remains at the forefront of innovation and is well-equipped to meet the demands of a growing market.
